In this sequel the heroic trio meet another severe test. After a nuclear explosion, Black Night (Anthony Wong), who owns the water purification plant, schemes to overthrow the ruling power. Kong and Chat (Maggie Cheung) are manipulated, Dong's (Anita Mui) husband is drugged. It is up to Chat, Dong and San (Michelle Yeoh) to stop Black Night.
