Synopsis
Director Dante Lam (Beast Cops) once again tackles the cop genre with Hit Team, a taut police actioner! Rising star Daniel Wu leads a specialized foursome of cops, dubbed the Hit Team, whose goal is the take down of heavily-armed criminals. Their eventual quarry is a group of rogue cops led by singer Alex To, who make triad-operated underground banks their one and only target. He and his partners are looking to fund an operation for their crippled buddy Chin Kar Lok, who was paralyzed in the line of duty and hung out to dry by the bureaucratic cops at Police HQ. The Hit Team can't question the loyalty or purpose of the rogue cops, but when one of the robberies results in a fatality, something has to be done! Compelling themes of brotherhood and duty are combined with explosive, authentic action sequences to make Hit Team a gripping action thriller with uncommon intelligence.
