Shizuku is spending her last summer vacation in junior High School, reading and translating lyrics of popular foreign music into Japanese. She dreams of becoming a writer. Lately, she has noticed the the name Seiji Amasawa is written on every book she borrows from the library. One day, on her way delivering her father his lunch, Shizuku accidentally meets Seiji and learns that he dreams of becoming a famous violin maker in Italy. Seiji and Shizuku each have their own dream pulling them in different direction, yet the feelings they hold for each other are strong.
